Employer Nominated Migration
The Employer Nomination visas are designed to allow Australian employers to nominate highly skilled people from overseas for permanent residence in Australia.
The Employer Nomination Scheme (ENS) has two parts. First, the employer must apply to the Department for approval of a nominated position as an “approved appointment”. Secondly, the nominated employee must make a separate application for a visa. For a visa to be granted the nominated appointment must be approved and the visa application must meet relevant criteria for the grant of the visa.
Below is a list of visa subclasses which are available in Australia (residence or onshore visas) and outside Australia (offshore or migrant visas).
- Employer Nomination Scheme, Subclass 186
All the visas covered in this category are permanent visas allowing the holder to remain in or travel to and enter Australia for five years from the date of grant.
